Miracle felt like it was designed to be made into a GNS in the future, unlike Everchanging/Faint Resemblance, as those felt much more like RA trying to find their sound in The Unraveling, rather than completely making a song just for it to sound its best when not in a Punk Rock sound.
(Intermission) Wolves and later Broadcast Signal Frequency were both really good sounding, with especially the latter feeling alot more older to RPM10 era. Yeah we get it your "Wolves" circling your prey, jesus christ is this a punk album or a tumblr blog? On an album called Wolves, which also has a song called Wolves. They completely decided to throw subtlety out the window, making the album art literally just a wolf. I think wolves is pretty generic except for the cool color scheme when paired with the RA logo. While Sufferer has these songs like Drones and Worth Dying for, much more suited to taking action. RPM10 deals with a lot of things that aren't necessarily punk ie: Voices off Camera, Heaven Knows and Like the Angel. The only problem I have is that the album cover may have been a bit better on something like Sufferer, and maybe they switched album covers. There's also some tread marks on the Rise Against name, showing that this album is about the ones who are being stampeded by those in power. It's not the grenades decision on what gets destroyed, it's the one wielding it. it's representing that their music is a weapon, and you decide how to use it to inspire change. This art really shows that RA are trying to send a message to their listeners to ACT. RPM10: I personally think this album is super underrated, and that goes for its artwork too. This artwork doesn't really have much of a message like a lot of the other album covers do, but I think that's ok, considering most of the songs here are all just "General Punk" Ie: Not really taking to specific ideas or movements, but rather being vague to create your own ideas from it. The obvious punk skater style just evokes what you're going to be listening to. SSOTCC I just adore, the music is phenomenal, and the album cover just adds to it. 2/10 I shirk my obligations I miss all your deadlines I excel at quitting early.Black Market has really cool artwork, sucks that it's my least favorite album though. 7/10 I felt the cold rain of the coming storm all because of you.ġ3. 7/10 So leave me at the roadside and hang me up and out to dry.ġ2. Love the lyrics and the tune gets stuck in your head. Catchy tune, meaningful lyrics and great riff. My favourite track on the album, the song I heard first and it made me want to buy it.
